A Family Style Italian Meal: Pizza, Pasta and Wine (Wine Society event) January 18, 2009

Welcome in a new year of wine with a casual dinner of pizza and pasta – a heartwarming switch from fussy holiday foods. Shrug off the January chill with a mug of Vin Brulè (Italian Mulled Wine), then enjoy the warming ambiance of food, wine and conversation – the essence of an Italian family style dinner. In addition to a fun menu of brick oven pizza, we will explore wines you can enjoy dining out or at home whenever you have pizza.

The selected wines include excellent values among a varied group of Italian wines as well as a couple of New World wines.
