March 16th-March 31st, Fri/ Sat nights. ‘A Dragcar named Desiree’ parody by Chris Manley
In this ‘R” rated spoof of all things Tennessee Williams, A southern belle Blanche goes to live with her young sister Stella and her sister’s brutish husband Stanley. Only one problem… Blanche is a man! This comedy farce parody staring a drag queen as the mentally ill Blanche in 1920’s New Orleans will have you in stitches. When Stanley becomes wise to Blanche’s “secret” he attempts to expose and discredit her, driving her to lunacy. Staring many actors from The Rose’s award winning 2011 production including globe award winners Jon Smith and Evie Armstrong and Directed by Globe award winner Jessie Rose this promises to be a hilarious night of comedy.
