Bolivar Plantation was originally constructed in the late 1830s. The home, now located in Chappell Hill, has been loved by many and been a valuable part of each of the families that have occupied it. This love has necessitated its relocation to save it from demolition on three different occasions. In October of 2006 the home was fully restored and people were able to walk through its halls for the first time in almost 20 years. Come hear about the rich history and restoration of one of Texas' few remaining antebellum plantation homes.
