Munch while you learn: Stop in for a refreshing lunch break, 12:30pm on Wednesday February 3 and discover Dumbarton House's Federal Period and decorative arts collection while enjoying your brown bag lunch! Deputy director and curator at the Society of the Cincinnati's Anderson House, Emily L. Schulz will present a lecture on George Washington’s presence in Dumbarton House’s collection. Ms Schulz will be highlighting two key objects in our collection- a portrait miniature of George Washington, a contemporary copy of an Edward Savage painting; and a tumbler, or ‘camp cup,’ one of a set of twelve commissioned by George Washington and handed down through family and relations.
