A Christmas Tree Carol - The Time Traveler's Guide November 24, 2010

A dazzling display in the conservatory at Matthaei Botanical Gardens of eight unique holiday trees decorated in styles from the past, present, and future that re-creates trees in period style ranging from early Victorian and into the future. The display includes cut and artificial trees, live trees, a large poinsettia tree, and historically accurate natural ornaments, with interpretation about environmental impacts of different choices. Open day after Thanksgiving and New Year's Day; closed Christmas day
