Creator and lead performer Tod Petersen uses his youthful memories of growing up in Mankato, Minnesota and mixes it with Christmas experiences as an adult. Along the way, he and a talented trio of Carolettes sing a collection of Christmas tunes that expertly mix the emotions of the season - joy, hope, melancholy, sadness and of the show's namesake his mother, Carole.
