A Black Tie Affair: An Evening in the Secret Garden May 7, 2011

Saturday, May 7, 2011 the Kaiser Rooftop Garden will be all aglow. Oakland’s best and brightest will pack the house for the 1st annual A Black Tie Affair: An Evening in the Secret Garden. A Black Tie Affair features performances from Jazz artist, Raja Rahim, R&B singer LB Muzac, and highlights the services of Oakland City Council Member Desley Brooks, Chairperson of the Life Enrichment Council. Danny Glover, actor and activist, will present the health-conscious coffee line, Organo Gold. The grand finale showcases the talents of the Mario B. Youth Fashion Program, and includes two songs from the Grammy –nominated singer, Chante’ Moore, all to benefit First Place For Youth, an agency that assists young adults transitioning into adulthood with support services before and after emancipation.
