Tickets Go On Sale December 23
Three-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and virtuoso guitarist Brian Setzer is unleashing his Rockabilly Riot Tour in a WXRT show at Lincolnshire’s Viper Alley Saturday, Jan. 28 at 8:30 pm. Doors open at 6 pm.
Tickets, starting at $50, go on sale Friday, Dec. 23 at noon and are available at www.viper-alley.com. Attendees must be 21 or over.
The former Stray Cats front man recently garnered his 11th Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Instrumental Album, “Setzer Goes Instru-MENTAL!” His Grammy wins include Best Pop Performance Duo/Group for “Jump Jive ‘An Wail,” and two Best Pop Instrumental Performance Awards for “Sleepwalk” and “Caravan.”
Setzer’s song, “Malaguena’ is featured in the recently-released DreamWorks 3D movie “Puss in Boots,” and he just performed in the CMA Country Christmas Special on ABC.
Setzer burst onto the U.S. music scene in 1982 with two Top Ten hits, “Rock This Town,” and “Stray Cat Strut,” and a unique rockabilly sound. Since then, he has released nearly a dozen records with his band The Stray Cats, and more than a dozen with his 17-piece ensemble, The Brian Setzer Orchestra. His latest album, “Setzer Goes Instru-MENTAL!” was released this year.
