Scrappy East Bay documentary captures the collective sweat condensing on the walls of 924 Gilman, the legendary Berkeley, California punk rock club. It's all-ages, non-profit and 20 years old. Is that even possible? Come see for yourself, it's the next best thing to being at these countless live shows. Seminal artists interviewed in the film include Jello Biafra, Ian MacKaye, Lars Frederickson, Matt Freeman, Dave Scattered and Sweettooth. Performances by Operation Ivy, Pansy Division, Fleshies, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Against Me, Jason Webley, Panty Raid, Screeching Weasel, Pinhead Gunpowder, Dominatrix (Brazil), D.S.B. (Japan), and Atom and His Package. Parts of the film have been screened at 924 Gilman, but this is its fully assembled debut!
First-time director Jack Curran will be present at the screening.
