8th Annual Bicycle Film Festival July 23, 2008

The 8th Annual Bicycle Film Festival rolls through San Francisco this week, July 23-26, for four days of fantastic bike-centered movies, an art show, and even a street party with super-fun bike activities on a car-free block of Capp St.

Featured films include The Way Bobby Sees It, about a blind Bay Area cyclist, Road to Roubaix telling the story of one of the toughest races in the world, and San Francisco's own Cyclecide even has their take on the Road Warrior, The Loaded Warrior at the festival this year. Films will screen at the Victoria Theater at 16th St., between Capp and Mission Streets.

Saturday's Street Party will be host to tons of bike fun, from BMX ramps and Cyclecide's wacky bike toys to performances from Macaframa and artistic cyclist Ines Brunn. This year's Bicycle Film Festival is not to be missed! Check out the full schedule at bicyclefilmfestival.com. The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition will be providing free valet bike parking.
