Dearest List,

You know this Thursday is the anniversary of both the 1981 Voyager 2 spacecraft making its closest approach to Saturn, and then in 1989 making its closest approach to Neptune, the outermost planet in the Solar System. How wild is that.

So to celebrate the planets aligning on this fine date, we cordially invite each and everyone of you to celebrate this stellar (or at least solar system wide) event

A word on the venue.

This friendly German bistro serves hardy tasty fare, and perhaps the best beer European selection on the left coast. We always have a great time here, and recommend you bring enough of your pals to have a designated driver.

We will play 3 sets starting at 830 PM. It's the second outing of our brand spanking new Trumpet (and Bugle) player Dave Shaff. He was smokin at Revolution (his playing not the herb), so will be even more amazing this time out.
