Urgh! A Music War
A veritable who's who of the 80's Punk/New Wave movement, Urgh! earned its cult status thanks to repeated late-night broadcasts on television programs like Night Flight. This concert film features performances from The Police, Devo, X, Wall of Voodoo, The Go Go's, The Cramps, The Dead Kennedys, OMD, Oingo Boingo, Gang of Four, XTC, Echo & the Bunnymen and many many more. One of the best concert films of all time!

I Just Can't Get Enough: 80's New Wave Singalong
Let's face it: punk scared people. In order to break into the mainstream, the feelings of isolation and discord with the corporate world would somehow have to undergo a radical transformation that made it more palatable for that very world it tried to rebel against: enter the 'new wave.' We've put together a killer show with the one-hit wonders and the legends of pop all feeding off of each other in a wonderfully independent flourescent-hued flash of a future that still feels like it's on the way even though it's all from over 20 years ago. We'll melt with you at the Roxie on Oct 16!
