Writing and Publishing workshops, Abilene Book Award, Cookbook Gala, Gospel Hymnfest, Texas Songwriters Concert, Boots and Books Luncheon honoring Texas Authors, “Hall of Texas Authors” with more than 100 Texas authors, publishers and musicians who display, sell & autograph books and CD’s. Presentations are held throughout the day Saturday. Time: Varies. Cost: Free except for Boots and Books Luncheon. Location: Abilene Public Library, historic Paramount Theatre & Abilene Civic Center.
