7th Annual Hunter Ice Festival January 13, 2011

Celebrate the legacy of The Hunter Brothers Ice & Ice Cream Company and be amazed as World Class Masters carvers transform more than 25 TONS of Ice into ART!

Ice Brigade from Grand Rapids will be carving an Ice Carousel while being filmed by the Food Network for a new upcoming series. Plans are for a working Ice Carousel, with lights & music that, weather permitting, people will be able to ride!

Team Texas a.k.a. Buddy Rasmussen & Reverend Butter will be here! You may have seen them on TV… both have been featured twice on TLC’s Chainsaw Ice Sculptor show. Plan to be here Saturday Night as they bring Texas Ice Fights to the Riverfront Park Amphitheater in Downtown Niles, Michigan.

–Friday Night Murder Mystery Dinner – Saturday Morning Frigid 5k Run - History of Ice Carving/Harvesting Exhibit at the Niles Library - Warming Center w/ Kids Craft Area - Family Friendly Foods Building - Chillin’ Ice Bar on the Patio at Riverfront Café – Sunday Chili Cook off throughout downtown. **Some events require tickets.
