Enjoy the outdoors and breathe in the fresh smell of flowers on Sunday, May 4 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a self-guided tour of some of the most exquisite and exclusive private gardens in Los Angeles. This year marks the seventh annual Brentwood Garden Tour, a fundraising event planned by the Brentwood Historical Society with proceeds of the tour financing the Society’s educational programs and oral histories.
For $25, garden enthusiasts may leisurely stroll through some of the most gorgeous gardens on the Westside and pick up a few tips for their own garden whether all-potted, child-friendly, or sprawling. “Tour-ists” will be privy to gorgeous views of Los Angeles, luscious scents from fragrant flowers and trees, and elegant architecture. In addition, they’ll pick up some history about the different areas in which the gardens reside.
Your ticket to the Brentwood Garden Tour opens five private gardens for your enjoyment, each quite different, ranging from a pesticide-free garden to beds of color amidst lush green.
Tickets are $25 and may be purchased after April 7 at Brentwood Stationers, the General Store in the Country Mart, and Hashimoto’s Garden Supply. They are also available through our website (BrentwoodGardenTour.com) or, on the day of the event. Children under 6 are free with parents, but please no strollers.
