7th Anniversary Teen Producers Project Celebration and Student Scholarship Fundraiser October 22, 2008

The Media Arts Center San Diego and the Teen Producers Project have been dedicated to bringing media arts to undeserved, at-risk teenagers for seven years. The program takes kids off the street and into the classroom by teaching them practical skills of production, self-esteem, leadership, and community involvement. This is to celebrate the success of the Teen Producers Project in an effort to fundraise for student scholarships.

There is a suggested donation of $50. Your donations help teens tell stories about their community, support ongoing Teen Producers Project programs and contribute to our Greg Muskewitz Scholarship Fund.

At the event there will be complimentary cocktails, food, dessert, and plenty of live music. Additionally, we will be presenting our student scholarships and screening some of our more recent Teen Producers Project videos.

We will also be hosting a Silent Auction as a part of our fundraiser. Some of our exciting Silent Auction items include: Roundtrip tickets anywhere Southwest flies, Roundtrip tickets to any Mexican destination on AeroMexico, Belly Up Tavern concert tickets, A day at Disneyland, Macy's gift cards, and Diversionary Theater tickets.
