In celebration of Hofstra University's 75th Anniversary, this exhibition, drawn from the University Archives collection, which focuses on the history of the University, highlights 75 stories from the University's past. Through the use of photographs, original documents, memorabilia and objects, the exhibition tells the stories of William and Kate Hofstra, the University Presidents, students, faculty and staff. Included are anecdotes and descriptions of events that many will have forgotten such as: Who were the founding sisters of Alpha Theta Beta? Who were James Barnard, George Williams and Olive Plunkett? Why was the 1956 football team called the Tiny Twenty? What was the concept behind Aymar Embury's design of the campus?
