6th annual Tri-State BBQ Festival April 8, 2011

The Tri-State BBQ Festival has many activities set up for spectators… a car show, live music, kids activities, amusements and rides both days, cooking demos and a lot of sampling opportunities both from sauce and spice vendors in the Vendor Village and from the teams competitng in the Kelley’s Foods People’s Choice/ Southern Hospitality awards.
We have many vendors who are sampling their spices and rubs, plus some such as Blue Bell Ice Cream who are just plain ole’ giving out samples of their product.
There will also be between 40-60 teams competing for $8000 in cash prizes. Many thanks to Coors LIght and Wiregrass Electric CoOp for their sponsorship.
There's entertainment lined up to include story telling, music, and live comedy, so we’re looking great on that. The band Friday night, the BopCats, is amazing, and just performed at the CityFest ALS fundriaser. You will LOVE them!
