6th Annual Music Arts Festival
Two Days of Free Family Fun
Highlands Ranch Concert Band presents the 6th Annual Music Arts Festival. This free, two-day family event features a variety of music groups, with jazz and swing performances on Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and concert and symphonic performances on Sunday May 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Civic Green Park, 9370 Ridgeline Boulevard, Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Enjoy concerts presented by the Highlands Ranch Concert Band, Denver Concert Band, Slide Rule, Ministers of Swing, John Philips Sousa Band, Windjammers Jazz Orchestra, Castle Rock Orchestra, Over the Hill Band, Rootin’ Tootin’ Dixie Land Band, the Colorado VFW Band and more. High School Bands will be represented by Mountain Vista and Thunder Ridge HS.
The Festival Marketplace offers an assortment of items offered by artists, crafters, and other retail vendors, including International Silver, Mountain Glass, Shawnee Mountain Gallery, Yuthok Tibetan Treasure, and Artistic Petals. Pull up a chair and enjoy some barbecue ribs, crepes or hot dogs from Montana BBQ, Funky Monkey Crepes and Dream Dogs, along with many other selections.
This event is presented by the Highlands Ranch Concert Band, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of volunteer professional, amateur and high school musicians that provides free performances throughout the year, promoting an educational experience for musicians and the community through music, arts, entertainment, and cultural opportunities.
