66th Santa Barbara International Orchid Show March 11, 2011

Get your kicks with orchids this March at the Santa Barbara International Orchid Show, which celebrates its 66th consecutive year in 2011. As the longest running and one of the most prestigious orchid shows in the United States, the Santa Barbara International Orchid Show draws top local, regional and international growers for a three day extravaganza of lush garden displays and floral arrangements featuring exotic and beautiful orchids. In addition, the Santa Barbara Art Association manages a juried exhibition of orchid-themed fine art and photography. Visitors may also watch potting demonstrations and receive cultural information from expert growers. The extensive sales area features vendors from all over the United States, South America, Australia, and Asia who will offer thousands of blooming orchid plants for sale. Concurrent with Orchid Show weekend, local orchid nurseries will hold open houses and special sales.
