Part art festival, part block party, Art City Austin features an outdoor art fair of nationally recognized artists, local food trailers, craft beer and cocktails, live music on City Hall plaza and interactive projects for kids of all ages. For the first time, the People’s Gallery at City Hall will be open with more than 150 works of art by Austin artists.
EAT:
The S. First Street Bridge becomes home to the Art City Trailer Food Park for the 2-day culture fest. Hometown flavors range from Korean BBQ by Chi’Lantro, German Brat from Best Wurst, Greek Gyros from Heroes Gyros, select-your-flavors ice cream sandwiches from Coolhaus and organic variety by Whole Foods Market to name a few.

WHERE: Downtown Austin at Austin City Hall and Cesar Chavez Street (from Colorado Street to San Antonio) including the South First Street Bridge. The north entrance is located on Guadalupe at 2ND Street and south entrance on the South 1ST Street Bridge.
ADMISSION: $8 contribution for adults at the gate, which includes shuttle and admission into AMOA/Arthouse and the Blanton Museum of Art during the festival weekend. Free admission for children 12 and under, volunteers and those who ride bikes or show a Capital Metro Pass.
