5th Congressional Blues Festival April 23, 2008

Wednesday April 23rd 6pm- 11pm
The 5th Congressional Blues Festival will be held this year at The Kennedy Center in Washington DC. This festival has been growing momentum every year and has been called "one of the greatest events of the year!"
On the artist bill this year are: Robert Cray Band, Elvin Bishop, Sarah Lee Guthrie (Woody Guthrie's daughter), Atlanta GA legends such as Beverly "Guitar" Watkins, Mudcat, Sol, Ardie Dean, Captain Luke, Big Ron Hunter, Macavine & many more!

in Washington DC starting at 10:30pm.

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Music Maker Relief Foundation, dedicated to preserving the music of the blues pioneers alive today.
