The city of Richmond’s Historic 17th Street Farmers’ Market, the Shockoe Bottom Neighborhood Association, and The Enrichmond Foundation present the 5th Annual Shockoe-on-the-Half Shell this Saturday, September 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Whether you like oysters raw, steamed, fried, roasted, or stewed, the free festival will have six restaurants serving oysters prepared every way imaginable. The festival will be a great weekend event to bring the entire family. Live music for this year's festival features classic rock from Richmond native Kinetic Element and smooth jazz from Sharon Rae North and band.
