Right now there are over 6,000 seniors living in Orange and Seminole counties who are on a waiting list for services that will enable them to stay living in their own home. It's hard to believe that there are so many elders in our community who need a nutritious meal, help with a bath, or just companionship. You can help.
On February 12, 2012 the Peabody will once again host the 5th Annual High Tea & Hats. A ballroom will be infused with an extra burst of color as more than 350 guests wearing vibrant hats come together to raise funds to help low-income and frail seniors. Dine on traditional teatime fare, participate in a 'stylish hat' contest and bid on items in the silent and chance auctions. The 5th Annual High Tea & Hats fundraiser is expected to raise thousands of dollars to help seniors living in Orange and Seminole counties.
