5K Walk & Fun Run for Childhood Obesity from PTA & Coach Roudy January 16, 2010

Second annual 5K & Fun Run to fight childhood obesity and promote health & wellness. Children & families are encouraged to participate! Walk or run the 5K - Children will have a 1/2 mile run/walk. Our goal is to empower children to develop healthy lifestyle habits & a lifelong love of physical activity. This year's event is to be held on the campus of Florida Atlantic University on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 9:00am.

This event is being hosted by Palm Beach PTA and CoachRoudyFightsChildhoodObesity . Our goal is to empower children to develop healthy lifestyle habits & a lifelong love of physical activity. Funds raised will provide grants to PTA's to implement health & wellness programs such as group sports, marital arts, Yoga and dance and/or purchase sports equipment for schools throughout Palm Beach County. Your contribution will truly help children in our community. We are a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization.

The event will also offer nutritionists & other health experts, martial arts & Yoga demonstrations and other fun physical activities! Stay tuned for exciting news!
