5K Saranac Run May 28, 2011

This Memorial Day weekend, honor our nation's veterans by participating in the Saranac 5K Fun Run taking place in downtown Rochester. All proceeds from this event will go to the Nazareth College Veterans Scholarship Fund.

The race starts at 5 p.m. on Smith St., east of Sahlen's Stadium. Registration is Required.

If you'd rather leave the running to Forrest Gump, race organizer Katie Mullen Kehoe '63 invites you to volunteer for the event.

Cheer on runners at checkpoints and direct them along the course. The time commitment for volunteers is only from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. with a brief gathering before the race to share information and instructions.

Enjoy live music and a chance to meet members of the Rochester Rattlers, Rhinos and Western New York Flash. There's something for everyone to do!
