PCRS, a non-profit organization, was established to help prepare Florida Panhandle children for success in the new global economy through accelerated academics, fluency in three languages and a creative curriculum that encourages children to think outside the box and combine knowledge from the arts with science and math.
In 2009, PCRS received national recognition for the quality of its program. Bob Compton, filmmaker and executive producer of Two Million Minutes, quoted: "Like most of the most innovative Charters and private schools, Panama City Renaissance School puts their limited capital into hiring great teachers…. Renaissance School leases space from a church in a very modest neighborhood. But the education being delivered inside these humble walls is anything but modest - children…learning at the highest levels globally.” For more information about Panama City Renaissance School please visit www.PCRSchool.org
