Enjoy a fun-filled family weekend at the 57th Landon School Azalea Garden Festival on Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2nd on the Landon School campus, 6101 Wilson Lane, Bethesda, Maryland, just minutes from the Capital Beltway. Festival hours run from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily; general admission and parking are free.
Guests can tour the Perkins Garden, packed with azaleas, then shop the plant sale featuring azaleas, annuals, flowering shrubs and roses, herbs and vegetables, wildflowers and perennials. Specialty Boutiques will be located indoors, at the newly renovated Barton Athletic Center. Shops will feature home and garden items, unusual gifts, jewelry, furniture and one-of-a-kind finds. FunLand, even bigger this year, is a favorite for children of all ages with games, crafts, inflatable’s, carnival games, and boardwalk style food. This year’s Festival will include a parade Saturday morning at 11 a.m. featuring community groups. Throughout the Festival enjoy live musical entertainment, and attend garden-related seminars. Don’t forget Mark’s Run (5K) on Sunday, May 2. For more details about the Festival please go to www.Landon.net/azalea.
All proceeds benefit student financial assistance programs at Landon, which supports one in every six boys attending Landon, as well as the faculty enrichment program. The Landon volunteer community is proud to support these funds.
