Celebrate Independence Day at Patrick Henry's Red Hill, last home and burial place of Virginia's first governor. Patrick Henry visits and tells of his life and times. Fireworks, live music, re-enactments, tours, kids' games, arts & crafts vendors and more. Food, drink, and ice cream from vendors on site. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a peaceful day on the beautiful grounds of this home which Henry called "the garden spot of the world." Take a chance on a 50/50 drawing. Top the evening off with the magnificent fireworks display at dusk. Call for more information and directions or visit us on the website. Grounds open at 9 a.m. with scheduled activities from 3 p.m. until fireworks display at dusk.
