Don your red, white and blue, and discover the fun at Lenox Square! 4th of July will be celebrated in grand tradition with activities for the entire family, including a Kids Zone, live musical entertainment from Party on the Moon and City Heat, food concessions and the largest fireworks display in the Southeast. Everyone is invited to Lenox Square to experience Atlanta’s legendary celebration!
Headlining the evening will be Atlanta’s premier cover band, Party on the Moon, taking the stage at 7:30 and playing until the fireworks show begins. One of the most in-demand party bands in the country, Party on the Moon has played at President Obama’s Inauguration Ball, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning’s wedding and most recently, Donald Trump’s New Year’s Eve party. Lenox Square’s Legendary 4th is a favorite concert venue for the band, as members get to play for their friends and loved ones – and their hometown!
City Heat will kick off the freedom festivities from 6 – 7:15 p.m. A versatile cover band that offers a variety of musical entertainment, City Heat will entertain the crowd with favorite Motown hits and relaxing, beach-appropriate songs. Comprised of seasoned musicians from Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, New York, Baltimore and Atlanta, City Heat will bring energy and pizzazz to the stage.
Kids Zone play area opens at 12 p.m.
Lenox Square shops and restaurants are open from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Musical entertainment from City Heat and Party on the Moon begins at 6 p.m.
Fireworks scheduled to begin at approximately 9:40 p.m.
