4th Friday Drum Circle February 22, 2013

The Newark Arts Alliance is sponsoring a free informal drum circle (usually) on the fourth Friday of every month, 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Note that the Newark Arts Alliance is in Market East Plaza on Main Street Newark, Delaware.
When there is another event at the Newark Arts Alliance that moves the date or time of drum circle, it will be posted here. Otherwise, the drummers will meet at 7 pm on 4th Friday .

In Nov and Dec we might change locations and or date. Keep checking for more info. But the rest of the year, we will meet 4th Fridays at the Gallery room of the Newark Arts Alliance.

This event will be moderated by Lorelei. The focus will be primarily on African and Mideast rhythms, but all drumming is welcome. Participants are asked to bring a drum or other percussion instrument, and melody instruments (such as flute, clarinet, etc.) are also invited. There can also be dancing, if space permits. Children should be accompanied by parents.
