4th Annual Singapore Regional Yoga Asana Championship October 29, 2010

Once again, the much-anticipated Bikram Yoga Championship many have been waiting for is back! Bikram Yoga City Hall (BYCH) promises the event to be an immense delight for all, especially for yoga enthusiasts out there in Singapore and around the region.

This year, we have the support of our venue sponsor, Willow Stream Spa, which garners a 50,000sqft sanctuary of wellness and luxurious pampering, nestled within Singapore’s urban landscape in Fairmont Hotel.

Every year, BYCH takes the lead and initiative to organize the annual championship in hope to use it as an ideal platform to increase awareness of yoga, and promote it as a holistic form of exercise suitable for people from all walks of life. Only into the 3rd year, Singapore has already produced 2 world champions. Yograttan Dev Kapil won 2008 Men’s title in 2009 and this February, Madeline Lu won 2010 International Yoga Asana Championship - Bishnu Charan Ghosh Cup (Youth Division-Girls).

Needless to say, this underscores the fact that yoga is suitable for people of all age groups, the young and the old alike, especially Bikram Yoga. Enjoy the journey of growing stronger and wiser. Share the love and support among Bikram Yoga practitioners.
