The Urban League of Battle Young Professionals (YP) in collaboration with the Battle Creek Public Schools (BCPS) and the Arts & Industry Council of Calhoun County (AIC) are organizing the 4th Annual Black Arts Festival. The focus of this year’s festival is two-fold:
Promoting African Art
Developing Creativity in Arts among Middle and High School Students
This years event includes a one week student arts scholarship program (Aug 10th-14th) for middle and high school students featuring two artists- Obii Ekeocha a Nigerian artist specializing in two dimensional art (Pointillism) and a local artist Patrice Ott.
There will be music, food, art & creative works and lots of fun. Bring a friend
