Livestock (meat animals) for sale. These are locally and humanely raised animals by 4H and FFA youth.

Here’s some information from the website:
If you purchase an animal it will be processed and returned to a local locker, a process charge will be added to your sale invoice at the time of payment ($98.00 for each steer; $50.00 for each lamb; $45.00 for hogs; and $50.00for goats).
Average Yield…Lambs will weigh 110 to 165 pounds live. Cut and wrapped lambs average a yield of 54 to 86 pounds of processed meat. Hogs will weigh 210 to 280 pounds live. Cut and wrapped hogs average a yield of 155 to 199 pounds of processed meat.
Steers will weigh 1000 to 1400 pounds live. Cut and wrapped steers average a yield of 650 to 877 pounds of processed meat.
Goats will weigh 55 to 125 pounds live. Cut and wrapped goats will average a yield of 30 to 60 pounds of processed meat. Cut and wrap charges are additional and billed separately by the butcher. (Hide, fleece, organs, head and offal are not included).
Reminder…It is your responsibility to contact your locker/butcher shop after the sale regarding cut and wrap instruction for the animal that you purchase. If you do not call within 48 hours of the auction the butchers will cut the meat and package it for a family of four (4).
Look for the lamb “Chops on Friday.” He weighs 123lbs, and his fair ear tag number is: 797.
