If there were ever a '90s band worthy of being covered, it's Sublime. But not everybody can sing like the late Bradley Nowell. In 40 oz to Freedom, however, soulful singer Dane Scott nearly nails it, simultaneously scorching through lengthy jams on his guitar. Bassist Terry Davis and drummer Mark LeBlanc finish it off with tight harmonies and strong rhythms to match the original reggae-heavy Sublime sound. Come out and welcome this Sublime time-machine to StageOne.
