3rd New England International Chinese Martial Arts Championships June 13, 2008

The growing sport of Wushu, or Chinese martial arts, will be on display this weekend at Eastern KConnecticut State University. Athletes of all ages will compete in tournaments featuring a range of kung fu styles.
The event includes two team trials which will select a team to represent the U.S. in Bali, Indonesia this, fall and a team to represent the U.S. in competition at the 3rd World Wushu Championships in China this October.
A dazzling Kung fu masters demonstration will be held Saturday evening June 14. The public is welcome to attend all events. Tickets are $15. Call 860-646-6818 for more information.
