The Peace & Social Justice Commission of St. Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield will present the 3nd Annual Parish Coffee House on Friday, September 24, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, in the parish gym. Doors open at 6:15pm.
The Coffee House will feature music by the Medow Family Singers, Antonio Uvias (from the Hispanic Music Ministry, and more.
You can sample Fair Trade coffee, tea & chocolates. Fair Trade products will be available for purchase and representatives from Fair Trade organizations will be on hand to answer questions on how Fair Trade helps farmers and artisans build a better future for their families.
There will also be a Silent Auction of donated items including products from Malawi, Africa. Proceeds benefit our Malawi Mission, Diocesan Missions, needs within our parish, and Fair Trade.
Admission is $5.00 per person at the door. Children under 12, accompanied by parents are free.
