Come meet the "SAN JUAN CHICKENS" IN PERSON AND ENJOY TWO FUN FILLED DAYS OF ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY, ARTS AND CRAFTS, FACE PAINTING, CROWNING OF THE CHICKEN QUEEN, PARADE, AND MUCH MORE...
I've lived in this town for over 5 years now. I'm letting everyone know that most San Juan Bautista residents are very cruel to their mascot. They try to run them over, pull them out of trees, and throw rocks at them. The other night a group of boys with flashlights were knocking them out of trees. Have you ever heard a group of chickens crying for their lives in the night? You wouldn't want to. If your a chicken hater, then I guess this event is for you. If you're against animal cruelty, don't promote the festival!
