Launching from the Harbor Town Marina docks, canoeist, kayakers, scullery and sailors alike will race the beautiful two-mile course directly behind the school. The fun does not end at the boat dock. Visitors will find a variety of arts and crafts sold by some of Memphis' best talent at the Regatta Art Show and kids will have a ball in the Make and Take art station. Some of Memphis' best live music can be heard throughout the day from the MMS Amphitheater and stage. Children's games, boat demonstrations, tile painting, concessions and more add to the all day fun of the Regatta. Don't miss the build a whacky boat competition, sculling demonstrations, and as a finale, the parade of boats.
Oh yeah, the Rubber Duck Race in the Maria Montessori School pond will leave one lucky winner with $50!
Come celebrate family, art, music, sport and most importantly, our priceless Mississippi River.
