3rd Annual Pickle Contest and Public Tasting October 8, 2011

Our annual Pickle Contest and Public Tasting takes place on the second Saturday in October. It’s a newer event than the Jam Contest, but gaining in popularity. Enter by October 7th and show up on the 8th to taste. Check in for some wild concoctions, because the pickle people are even more serious than the jammers. 1st prize is a 5 gal. pickling crock, 2nd prize is a Forschner chef’s knife, and 3rd prize is a stainless steel heavy-duty box grater.
