3rd ANNUAL JEFF BURD MENINGITIS WALK

We will be having the THIRD ANNUAL Jeff Burd Walk for Meningitis Awareness, on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at Freedom Park in Medford, NJ, in honor of our son, Jeff Burd.



The purpose of this Charity Walk is to increase meningitis prevention awareness, raise funds to support research towards improved vaccines and help those afflicted with permanent disabilities from this disease. The funds raised will be donated to several organizations, including the National Meningitis Association and Meningitis Angels. It is our hope that through this walk we can all help eradicate this deadly disease.

WHY WALK?
It has been 4 years, already, since Jeff passed. We now feel ready to honor Jeff's memory through raising awareness and working towards a cure for meningitis.

Our goal is to raise funds to support research, increase prevention awareness and to help those afflicted with permanent disabilities from this disease.

With your help, we hope to do our part to continue the fight against this disease so that no one else will have to suffer the way Jeff did.
