3rd Annual Fran Cowan Burnin Down the House Comedy Night for Spark of Love December 6, 2011

This year marks the 3rd Annual Fran Cowan 'Burnin Down The House' Comedy Night at the World Famous Improv benefiting the ABC 7/Southland Firefighters 'Spark of Love' Toy Drive. An incredibly fun filled night with some of the top names in comedy (Lineup to be announced). Past years comics have included Sarah Silverman, Todd Glass, Nick Swardson, Anjelah Johnson, Kevin Nealon, Tom Dreeson, Wendy Leibman, Bobby Collins, Vinny Favarito, Scott Kennedy, Daryl Wright and David Gee.

This special event is in honor of and remembrance of our long time friend and beloved member of the Improv family, Fran Cowan, who, at age 96 when she passed last January, was still an incredibly sprite and spunky spirit that touched all of the lives that were blessed to have known her.

The ‘Spark of Love’ Toy Drive campaign, now in its 19th year, collects toys and sports equipment for underprivileged children who might not otherwise receive a gift this Christmas. Admission to the show is one new, unwrapped toy or sports equipment valued at $10 or more. The toys will be collected the night of the show by the Los Angeles County Fire Dept. who will provide an exciting ending by arriving in full dress atop the beautiful Ladder Truck!
