The World Premiere of FIX: The Ministry Movie with a special appearance by Ministry bassist Paul Barker and film director Douglas Freel; plus two film series: “The British Invasion” and “South by Southeastern Europe: The Music of The Balkans;” special events featuring live performances; and free film and expert panel programming at the Chicago Cultural Center are among the highlights of the 2011 Chicago International Movies & Music Festival (CIMMFest). Now in its third year, the not-for-profit CIMMFest brings together filmmakers, musicians, and devotees from around the world for a celebration of movies and music at various venues around Chicago, Thursday, April 14 – Sunday, April 17, 2011.
A limited number of Early Bird Festival passes, priced at $45 ($35 for subscribers), are now available, until they run out. Single tickets are priced at $10 ($8 for students with valid ID), and most special events are priced at $15. Concerts are priced by the venues.
