3rd Annual Brenda Howard Award December 2, 2007

This award created in 2005 is given yearly, by the Queens Chapter of PFLAG at their Annual Awards Luncheon Celebration.

In addition to the “Brenda Howard Award” the at the same time the chapter also presents the “Morty Manford Award” and the “Carmel Tavadia Memorial Award”.

The “Brenda Howard Award” recognizes an individual or organization whose work on behalf of the LGBT Community best exemplifies the vision, principals and community service exemplified by the late bisexual rights activist Brenda Howard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brenda_Howard) and who serves as a positive and visible role model for the Bisexual Community.

So please com join us on the afternoon o Sunday December 2nd as we salute some of the people who have made a positive difference in the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender People, their families, their friends and their community.
