St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish in Frisco Texas is holding their 35th Annual Mexican Dinner and Cultural Days Event on Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th. The event will be held on the parish grounds which are located at 8000 Eldorado Parkway in Frisco (on the corner of Eldorado Parkway and Rogers Road.) While the Annual Mexican Dinner is not new to St. Francis, it is now augmented to include a cultural celebration (Mexican and American Food), served along with music, dancing, a children’s carnival and other entertainment throughout the weekend. More than 20 Cultural Tents will be on display. Each Cultural Tent carries the theme of a specific country, providing fun-facts about the country and including ways that the Catholic Faith is celebrated in that particular region of the world. This parish is now a melting pot of cultural diversity, blending its rich Hispanic Heritage with the many different ethnicities of its ever-growing parishioner base. Catholics from all over North Dallas have been invited to share this event with us. There are NO admission fees! A family of four will be able to enjoy the Mexican Dinner for about $20.
