Durban International Film Festival

South Africa's premiere film event, the Durban International Film Festival (DIFF), celebrates its 33rd edition from 19 to 29 July. With principal funding from the National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund, the country’s largest and longest-running International Film Festival presents around 250 screenings of the latest and greatest in contemporary world cinema. Apart from the powerful representation of new films from South Africa and the rest of the continent, there is a special focus on French Cinema.
Industry initiatives include the 5th Talent Campus Durban (in cooperation with the Berlin Talent Campus) and the 3rd Durban FilmMart (a co-production market in partnership with the Durban Film Office).
