The public is invited to attend the 32nd Annual Distinguished Volunteer Leadership Awards and Dinner honoring individual community leaders for their outstanding leadership and volunteerism. Tickets can be obtained from Roseville Parks and Recreation (651-792-7006) or from members of the North Suburban Gavel Association. Nominations, for individuals that have made a significant difference within an organization or community, come from past award recipients, or current Gavel Club member organizations. The deadline for submitting a nomination form is 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2011. No late entries will be accepted. The purpose of the North Suburban Gavel Association, founded in 1964, is to facilitate the communication and cooperation of community organization leaders in the north suburban Ramsey County area, to keep leaders informed about community activities, and to recognize outstanding volunteer leaders. Meetings, open to the public, are held monthly from September through June, on the third Wednesday of the month from 12:15 to 1:30 pm. at Roseville City Hall. Membership is open to all organizations and agencies, as well as to individuals, in the north suburban Ramsey County area.
