Join the ADSLA and friends at “30 Years of Pin-Up: 1927-1957" - From Lingerie to Evening Gowns, a complimentary cocktail reception and fashion show produced by the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles and Grand Vision Foundation, on Saturday, January 24, at the Art Deco masterpiece Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro! This elegant 80 silhouette live fashion show featuring vintage lingerie, bathing suits, daydresses, cocktail and evening wear plus a selection of vintage film costumes previously worn by Ava Gardner, Ginger Rogers, Esther Williams and more, all inspired by the art of 8 the of the most famous pin-up artists of this Golden Age! From Vargas and Elvgrin to Armstrong and Ekman, these iconic images provide the background for this presentation. Complimentary cocktail reception begins at 6:00 pm, followed by the fashion show at 7:00. Advance tickets are available NOW at the special price of $25 for ADSLA members and $35 for non-members.
