If you love food and photography and are passionate about learning where your food comes from, this is the class for you.

This multiple-day workshop on beautiful Whidbey Island will focus on how to tell a story through photographs. Specifically, you will learn how to tell a story about food.
Students will arrive late afternoon on Thursday and spend the evening getting acquainted with one another and learning some basics of documentary photography. Then, after

breakfast on Friday, the day will be spent visiting and photographing 2 farms on the island.

On Saturday, students will learn all about natural light food photography and will spend the day practicing their skills. There may even be a visit to the farmers market! The evening will

wrap up with a review of student work and a great dinner.

3 nights accommodations in The Willow Pond Lake House, (PLEASE NOTE THAT ROOMS ARE SHARED), all meals (including wine), transportation on the island, and all workshop instruction.
