3 Countries, 3 Cancers - Police/Firefighters Cycle for Cancer October 6, 2010

Rudy Pospisil is a cancer survivor and Fire Department Lieutenant in Vancouver BC. Starting on September 5, 2010, Rudy will lead a ride of Police and Firefighters from Vancouver BC to the United States and Mexico along the Pacific Coast. Police and Firefighters from major cities will join Rudy along his route.

Donations to 3 Countries, 3 Cancers will go toward breast, prostate and pancreatic cancer research at major cancer research institutes in Canada, the United States and Mexico. In the United States, donations will go to the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, a leader in cancer research, with nearly 200 members investigating the complex origins and progression of cancer, developing prevention strategies and searching for cures. USC Norris is designated by the National Cancer Institute as one of the nation's 40 comprehensive cancer centers.

3 Countries, 3 Cancers will arrive in Los Angeles on October 6, 2010. Los Angeles police and firefighters will ride into the city with Rudy.

Meet Rudy and the police and firefighter cyclists as they arrive at the High Rooftop Lounge at the Hotel Erwin for a reception, with breathtaking views of the city, from famed Muscle Beach and the Boardwalk below to the Hollywood Sign and Downtown LA.
